A Husband and wife weren't on good terms, and she was convinced that he was cheating on her with the maid, so she decided to lay a trap.
One Friday she sent the maid home for the weekend, but didn't tell her husband.
That evening when they went to bed,the husband gave the same story "Excuse me dear, my stomach..." and headed out the room. The wife promptly dashed along the corridor, up the back stairs and into the maid's room. She climed into the bed and switched off the lights.
No sooner had she switched the lights off when he came creeping in. He wasted no time or words and got on top of her.
When he was finished and still panting, the wife said, "You weren't expecting to find me in this bed, did you?" and switched the light on.
"No madam!" replied the gardener.
