There are several Twitter hastags (#unite #rwc2011 etc.) and a couple of Facebook groups and pages, all celebrating the upcoming Rugby World Cup 2011. So I was being all patriotic and stuff and got involved with the whole "100 days until Rugby World Cup 2011" vibe. As a result I posted the pic below, celebrating that we're just 100 days away from kick-off.
OK... so what: I've arranged my charcoal in patterns before, cut shapes into meat and seen garnish and side-dishes re-arranged to resemble various body parts, and while I think they're all very cool (small things amuse small minds I guess), the reason for this post is the response I got from some of the fans on facebook. The first reaction was that everyone wanted to me to do a new picture for each of the remaining 99 days. Which is cool... and I'd be keen, if it wasn't for all the events I'm doing in the coming weeks and months, and not to mention bundu-bashing my way through Africa on the
Put Foot Rally, where I might need to resort to a bit of braaied rat (a la survivor-style) just to get my qualifying braai in for the day, and then Rory Creffield suggested that I should ask all of you guys to get involved and each day a different fan posts a pic of their number for the day.
So... without further ado, this is how you can help me out and get involved:
1) pick a number, or two, and pop me a mail to claim it
2) take a picture of your braai representing that number on the day it comes up
3) send said picture to me and I'll post it on the website and on Facebook for all to see and enjoy

There is a "King of the Braai" hamper to be won by a random volunteer. Please reserve your number before Wed. 15th Jun @ 12h00 and you'll automatically be entered into the draw.
NewsFlash: In conjunction with some really awesome sponsors (will confirm all their names shortly), I'll be hosting a spitbraai for 30 people that have volunteered to do a number for us. The top 5 pictures (according to FaceBook likes and comments on this page) as well as another 10 random picks will be joining the party along with their partners.
